Big announcement: SMEAR CAMPAIGN GETS 5TH MEMBER!

Now you may be asking yourself, "Myself, who would actually agree to join that band and put up with all of their shit?" Well........Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to our newest family member- our new manager "STEPMOM" Karen Casey! Yep, last night over a beer Karen decided to help at the reigns of this wild wild rock and roll stagecoach. She will be helping us book shows and she will be in charge of our dealings with CD producer
Paul Van Cleave and our artist extraordinaire Joe "STOOPID" Kletz. God bless her patient, patient soul.

Also, coming soon; SMEAR CAMPAIGN playing one of the innaugural parties for THE SPACE in Aurora. This is a club/underground organization helping homeless punks in the Chicago area to get some food and a place to stay. We are very happy to be supporting them (and I will be helping them out in the booking/fundraising dept. so you know it'll be good). Also, we will be announcing our spring/summer schedule which should include the Darien Sportsplex, Just a Stage, Lunee Tunes, the Mutiny, Rockhouse, STS (Rockford), and hopefully our CD release party.

Thanks to all of you who came to the Rockhouse show and the Brixie's audition. Special thanks to Karen,
Ma-Ma-MaRIA (sorry about biting you), and Joe Kletz for all the help they have offered. Very soon we will be blowing up this third rate emo scene they call Chicago, and I want you all there with us when it happens.
